Holmdel Township Candidate Spotlight: Kim LaMountain

Today our Candidate Spotlight shines on Kim LaMountain . . .

For the past 25 years, Kim LaMountain’s daytime job has been building a law practice focused on real estate, family law, municipal court, and mediation.  She volunteers as a court appointed mediator and is an appointed  commissioner for condemnation proceedings. She also works part-time as a municipal court prosecutor.

Through the years, Kim has shared her work experience with the Holmdel students by creating a mock trial program for some of the Village School classes and participating in Career Day at Indian Hill School.  Her night-time and weekend jobs have been filled with youth programs. She spent 8 years coaching cheerleading with several years on the Pop Warner/AYF board.  Kim has been part of the soccer, basketball, baseball and lacrosse programs, sometimes with a title, sometimes without.

Needless to say, having four children with different interests has filled her last 19 years in Holmdel with lots of opportunities.  About ten years ago, Kim enjoyed shifting gears, sitting on the Planning Board and volunteering as a religious education teacher at St. Catharine’s Church in Holmdel.   She welcomes the opportunity to bring all of these experiences with her to Holmdel’s Township Committee.
