As the Holmdel Republican Party Chair, I want to welcome you to our new website. It is filled with information on our Elected Leaders, our Candidates, and the Team that puts in the work to make our town the amazing place it is. Click around, subscribe to our News page and our Calendar of Events to stay in touch with all that we have planned in the upcoming days.
Recently we had a historic special election in Holmdel to change our form of government. The people spoke, and it was heard loud and clear. I want to acknowledge the amount of civic engagement from all residents on this issue. It’s amazing and exciting to see so many people at work fighting for what they are passionate about. This is great work and I encourage all residents to become informed and to get more involved. All elections are local and your voice matters.
However, in the midst of this heated issue, I can’t help but think of the divide that has been caused here. Residents pitted against residents, and that is never a good thing. So, I’m calling for a time of Unity. We are friends. We are neighbors. We want what is best for each other and our town. When people enter politics, this should be the first and only motivation . . . what you can do for others. This is a time to come together and realize our common goals. It’s time to refocus on what matters and the issues affecting our town.
With less than 100 days until our November election, we need to support our clear, transparent candidates, Kim LaMountain and Brian Foster. There is no question on where they stand, what they have supported and what they will work for when elected. Please look for our Official Party Seal. If it doesn’t have our seal, then it’s not endorsed by The Official Holmdel Republican Party.
In closing, I want to acknowledge and thank the hard work of our Team, the County Committee, and dedicated volunteers. Our County Committee consists of 20 residents elected by our Town and our countless volunteers who worked hard to expose costs and the truth behind this special election. Many hands make light work and it’s exhilarating watching everyone work together.
A huge thanks to our County and State Leadership who came to support our direction for Holmdel Township. To all residents, we acknowledge your expectations for transparency, less chaos, and less confusion. We will work hard to make sure that the facts and truths are exposed. Please check our events calendar for our next event coming in September. Above all, we hope you will join us, as a volunteer, to continue to make Holmdel the amazing place we all adore.
